VLCI is a certified research centre for determinations of HSP and implementations thereof. The solubility (or dispersibility) of a product is assessed within a standardized set of solvents with known HSPs, spread over the 3-dimensional HSP space.
Solvents and products are automatically dispensed via the gravimetric dispensing unit of our High Throughput platform. The solubility is ranked from 1 (excellent) to 6 (very poor). Based on these scores, the HSPiP software generates the solubility sphere of the tested product.

Yes, PrediApps offers packs of 3 licences for research teams. Contact us for a custom quote if you are interested in more or belong to an academic/teaching institution.
PrediMatch is a web-app service and only requires an internet connection. It is designed for and tested on the latest stable desktop versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. It does not support any version of IE, including IE 11.
Very. We offer two ways of using the service:
Keep all data in your local storage, load and export the results each session, share ingredients, datasets and recipes using your own means.
Use our cloud (AWS based) service to store recipes and ingredients, set individual sharing privileges to each file/dataset inside your team. All communication and files are encrypted with AES-256 or similar.
PrediApps does NOT collect any user data beyond the voluntary voting and feedback system.
PrediApps works locally in your browser, and all communication to the server is secured by SSL/TLS. All files and other data can either be saved on your local hard drive or safely stored in the cloud using AES-256 encryption. You can share your datasets and recipes with others, but all sharing options are deactivated by default, so no one can access your formulation data.
PrediApps does not keep metrics or data beyond traffic volume and security related information. All feedback is voluntary and clearly labelled, and all communication with the server is encrypted to ensure the integrity of the system.
PredictID has now HSP parameters for:
600 new (exclusive!) experimental parameters determined using VLCI’s standardized workflow
6000 new YMB calculated parameters from dataset conversion (soon to be much, much more)
200 validated parameters from collaborations with material suppliers
Complete dataset from HSPiP (100 experimental and 10K+ calculated ingredients)

Each HSP parameter’s source is clearly labelled, as the aim is to centralize all available data. Users can privately load their own datasets to work in the webapp.
PredictID is updated once a month with the results of VLCI’s parameter determinations. The rate of growth depends on our commercial work and collaborations with suppliers, but the rate has been ever increasing since launch. Externally sourced datasets are verified and added as soon as they are available.
Yes, there are three avenues to add an ingredient to the database:
When you first join our formulation community, you can provide us with a list of essential components for your daily work, and we will determine them for free.
Once you are a user, we have a voting system in place to gauge the interest of the community in each ingredient. Most voted entries will be added to VLCI’s internal determination calendar.
For calculated values (Y-MB using the chemical structure), users can simply provide detailed information (CAS and/or SMILES) of an ingredient and we will process the data and add them for free.

If you want to keep the values private (not shared in the central database) you can contract VLCI to determine the parameters (costs involved) and add them privately to your account.
